At times of constantly rising energy prices, their economical use is of utmost importance. In existing buildings (whether industrial halls, office complexes, sports and wellness centres, hotels, etc.), there is usually no information on consumption before the utility bill itself arrives or information from its own energy producer. Data is processed manually, the evaluation is subjective. The measures taken to save money will therefore only remain on paper.
Intelligent gauges provide information about the measured values continuously. Thanks to wireless IoT networks, these values are immediately transferred to the ELKO Cloud. There they undergo a careful analysis that can recognize not only fluctuations in consumption but also the change in consumer behaviour. All thanks to the central building management system, also known as the Building Management System (BMS).
BMS is a software environment in which it is possible to create mutual relationships, visualize the activity of buildings technologies, collect statistical data and evaluate it. In this way, optimal building settings can be found to ensure user comfort while increasing the energy performance of the building. It integrates all the technologies in the building and makes everything transparent to operators and administrators.
It can propose measures to save or execute them directly - for example by correctly regulating the heating or cooling temperature, control lighting depending on the outdoor lighting conditions or the occupancy of the building, or by alerting administrators to running faucets or forgotten lights left on after working hours.
